(Psa 93:3) The floods have lifted up, O LORD, The floods have lifted up their voice; The floods lift up their waves.
A tsunami has hit America! It has devastated the country from sea to sea!! Multitudes have been swept away by the force of its power. The death toll is incalculable, the extent of damage inestimable. We have never seen anything like it in our nation’s history. But most people don’t even know it ever happened! Because the wave that has hit America is that what the Bible calls a “flood of dissipation” (1 Pet 4:4).
The Bible predicted concerning the last days that there would be tremendous apostasy (2 Tim 3:1-5). We have seen the tremors shaking our world for some time now. No one ever thought the condition of our planet would ever be to this magnitude. We have sold out the Ten Commandments for the Ten Suggestions and have been swept away by the moral chaos of our generation. Didn’t we ever take it seriously that we would reap what we have sown? (Hos 8:7; Gal 6:7-8). Did you ever think America would sink this low? Who are we kidding when we turn away from God? (Rom 1:21-32)
But there’s hope for our land yet! When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him. (Isa 59:19) The Lord can turn the tide of this evil if we repent! (Psa 107:29) He calms the storm, So that its waves are still. (Job 38:11) . . . 'This far you may come, but no farther, And here your proud waves must stop!' (Mark 4:41) . . . "Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!"
So, what do we do? (2 Chr 7:14) "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
And until America turns back to God we and our families will be protected from the ungodly deluge of our time. (Rev 12:15-16) So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. 16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. (Isa 43:2) When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you . . .
My brothers and sisters . . . don’t be swept away with the torrent of evil over our land today. Stand upon the Rock, Christ Jesus, and that way your house will stand! (Mat 7:24-25) "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 "and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
