THE ULTIMATE DOORWAY

(John 11:25) Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.

One door we all will walk through someday is the door of death. And it’s not just choosing door number one or two or three and hoping you choose the right one, all the while wondering if will face an eternal surprise leading to a forever disappointment. That is living life on hoping instead of trusting. Did you know you can trust your life to Jesus Christ and know for sure you will gain heaven when you die?

Martha told Jesus that she knew that her brother Lazarus would rise again in the resurrection in the last day. But Jesus replied that He was the resurrection and the life and that all who believe in Him would live after they die. Awesome! Jesus made another radical promise in John 14:19 where He said, “Because I live, you shall live also.” You can never be good enough for this eternal life, you have to receive it as a free gift. Because of Christ’s resurrection, you can be resurrected into new life when you go through that doorway of death. Jesus died on the cross so you wouldn’t have to be without hope and without Christ and without life.

Put your trust in Jesus today and be ready to walk through that door any time you are called to. That’s real hope and real living, and that’s a guaranteed reservation waiting for you!
