IF MY PEOPLE

(2 Chr 7:14) "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

If God places a godly person in government leadership . . . don’t take off your work clothes! We mustn’t rely upon one individual to the do the work that we all must do. The Lord said, “If my people”. That means all of us. We are to pray for kings and all who are in authority (1 Tim 2:1-3). But if our nation is going to turn that means “we the people” must turn to God. Let’s not pass the responsibility for change to the next person. It’s up to you and me to do the praying and to be the salt of the earth. God desires to use each and every one of us. From president to resident, together we can make a difference for Christ!

(Psa 118:8-9) It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in man. 9 It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in princes.
