“ . . . by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature . . .” (2 Pet 1:4)
Ever have an accident? What’s the first line of business after you settle down? You call the claims department, which begins the process of repair. And what do you do when your life is involved in a collision? You call on the name of the Lord and lay claim to the wonderful promises in His Word for you!
God has insured us in Christ and has given to us exceedingly great and precious promises that we can claim for our lives. And His promises are sure:
(Num 23:19) "God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
Read the book of Joshua and you will see how God fulfilled His promise to bring Israel into the Promised Land:
(Josh 21:45) Not a word failed of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.
As you read the Word you will discover wonderful promises you can claim so you will experience the Promised Land that God has for you!
